Reiki Life Energy of the Universe

Reiki is primarily known as a system of healing that was brought to the West from Japan in the 20th century, but has become increasingly popular in the New Age community over the last twenty years.

However to look upon Reiki simply as another New Age fad or therapy is to do it an injustice. It is an amazing technique for those interested in an esoteric spiritual path, and the way the Iseum teaches it appeals especially to those students with an interest in magic or paganism.

Reiki is, simply, universal life energy, and the ability to channel it can only be 'passed on' to a student by a Reiki Master/Teacher, who has studied the subject to Third Degree. The teacher, through a series of short procedures, 'attunes' a student, so that they are able to channel this energy directly through their own bodies. This is usually experienced as heat through the hands, and sometimes also through the feet. Sounds like magic? Well, until you've experienced this for yourself, that's what it can sound like.

Lady of the Flame Iseum offers in depth training, generally on a one-to-one basis with student and teacher, unless small groups of friends wish to train together. Many schools simply offer distance attunement with a minimum of post-training support, but we prefer to give firm grounding in the energy healing systems we teach, with plenty of exercises, pathworkings and healing practice for the student. If a student follows a particular magical or spiritual path, we endeavour to tailor the training to include these aspects. We allow our students to bring their own preferences and tastes to the initiations, including choice of music and incense if desired, and the chance to concescrate working tools. No two attunement sessions are ever the same! The training we offer is unique. Manuals and certificates are supplied.

Please Note: Lady of the Flame Iseum is in the Midlands of England, and First Degree training requires two sessions on consecutive days. We do recommend a local, family-run hotel for students who might need an overnight stay to complete their training. The hotel offers very comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price.
