At long last, a new update! Two years must be the longest time it's taken me to get round to this task, but there's been a lot going on recently.

I've added a couple of new sections - one on Sekhem Heka and one on Deharan Magic. Both of these will be expanded as time goes on.

Magical Workshops and Courses

At the moment, I'm not organising or advertising any events, but will be happy to accommodate any groups of 3-8 who want to book one. Simply get in touch with me via the info (at) ladyoftheflame.co.uk address.

Reiki, Seichim and Sekhem Heka

I've recently finished work on a new healing energy system called Sekhem Heka. This system is a derivative of Seichim, and melds healing with magical ritual work. The book for this system is available from May 2008 through Megalithica Books, which is an imprint of Immanion Press. (Visit the Books section for more information). I've written the system so that any Seichim/Reiki teacher can self attune and begin working with it, but I also appreciate that many students of energy work prefer to be part of a lineage, work with a teacher and receive a certificate. Therefore, I will offer distant and personal attunements to the system.

To begin with, there will only be two teachers officially accredited to attune people to Sekhem Heka - Jay Burrell of the School of LivingReiki Therapies and myself. Whilst any Reiki/Seichim teacher could buy the book, work through the system and then attune you, to receive an official Lady of the Flame Iseum or School of LivingReiki Therapies certificate, you will have to receive attunements from one of these organisations. Neither Jay or myself believe that people should have to pay vast amounts to receive training in energy systems, so I'm going to make distance training cheap and affordable. It will cost more to receive one to one training, but that is because it takes a lot more time and the training is more indepth.

Anyone wishing to book personal training in Reiki or Seichim please bear in mind my location, which is the Midlands of England, and the fact that first degree Reiki takes two sessions on consecutive days. For people who would prefer distant attunements, please visit the web site of my teacher Jay Burrell who offers this service at very reasonable rates. Jay's site is currently undergoing a huge revamp, but you can mail him for a copy of his vast attunement catalogue. There are very few modalities you won't find here!

Immanion Press and Megalithica Books

Because of the success of the non fiction titles we brought out through Immanion Press, we decided to create Megalithica Books, an imprint devoted to magical, spiritual and pagan titles. The aim of MB is not to bring out dozens more magic/Reiki/tarot 101 books, but new and exciting works from authors who have something fresh, imaginative and cutting edge to say. We're delighted with the calibre of the writers who have approached us and are building a really cool list.

Fellowship of Isis Event - A Celebration of the Goddess with Olivia Robertson

Held on Saturday July 5th 2008 in the centre of London, this is an all day event hosted by FOI founder Olivia Robertson.
