Lady of the Flame Iseum
A Magical Group Affiliated to the Fellowship of Isis
Welcome to the web pages of the Lady of the Flame Iseum. We are situated in the Midlands of the UK. It's taken me a while to update these pages, due to being very busy with Immanion Press over the past twelve months, but now I've got more time to attend to the web site. To those of you who have requested me to update information about your articles etc. please could you resend information to me at the address on the Contact Us page. My old AOL email account is no longer active, and I've had a new computer, plus old computer crises, since you originally mailed me so have lost the information. News In Brief... All subjects below can be read in more detail on the News and Update page. Fellowship of Isis Event - A Celebration of the Goddess with Olivia Robertson Held on Saturday July 5th 2008 in the centre of London, this is an all day event hosted by FOI founder Olivia Robertson. Including illustrated talks, interactive presentations and ceremonies, the event boasts a number of celebrated speakers in Caroline Wise, Andrew Collins, Caitlin Matthews, Cressida Pryor and Sheila Broun. Click Here to visit the Circle of Isis web page with full details and booking information. An event not to be missed! Lady of the Flame Training Courses Regarding workshops and courses on magical subjects, if any groups of 2-8 people wish to book anything, please get in touch and I'll do my best to accommodate you. The same goes for Reiki, Sekhem Heka or Seichim training for people who wish to take a one-to-one course rather than distant attunements. Due to high demand, the Iseum now runs correspondence courses, for people who cannot travel to our Stafford base for our events. Please mail me for details: info(at)ladyoftheflame.co.uk Megalithica Books Seeks Authors As of last year, my publishing house, Immanion Press, launched Megalithica Books, a new imprint devoted specifically to non fiction titles of an occult and spiritual nature. We are looking for cutting edge works that have something innovative to say about esoteric subjects. We don't want rehashes of the zillions of existing books on witchcraft - but new systems, new ideas, new practices and new insights. Please get in touch if you have a manuscript you think will be suitable for us. Storm Constantine, 15th May 2008
An Iseum is a magical group affiliated to the Fellowship of Isis. Our Iseum was inaugurated in 2000, by Caroline Wise, and its administrator is Storm Constantine. Until a few years ago, none of us who worked magically together felt the need or the interest to become associated with a magical organisation as, each for our seperate reasons, we tended to view them with a little suspicion but the constitution of the FOI (with its emphasis on freedom of spiritual belief and magical practice of its members) impressed us. Here was an organisation that sought only to link like-minded practitioners and promote the feminine aspect of the divine worldwide. The only restriction is that the FOI opposes racism and sacrifice. Since we agree with those ideals, we were happy to follow through with the suggestion to become a part of this dynamic and thriving organisation which would enable us to make contact and share ideas with others. If anyone is interested in how we made contact with the FOI through Caroline Wise, an article can be found in the Archives. Although the Iseum originally had a mainly Egyptian focus, centering around the goddesses Bast and Sekhmet, I am now very much involved in other aspects of spiritual/magical work, and would like this site to reflect my diverse interests, so that people searching for information can use it as a resource. At present, the site includes a few of our Egyptian and Wiccan style rituals, but more, from different traditions, will be added as time goes on. I will include accounts and information about our practices, including our work with Reiki and other energy healing systems. This site will continue to be updated with new information regarding Bast and Sekhmet. I am also happy to answer any queries visitors may have about magic/witchcraft/goddess spirituality.
